The U-type post support allows installing timber elements in concrete, ensuring adequate expansion of the wood from the ground. It is ideal for securing fence posts to concrete foundations, supporting decking structures and pergolas, and repairing or reinforcing existing post structures like carports, terraces, and verandas. This bracket provides a stable base for post installations in landscaping and garden projects. Made from Steel S235 with galvanisation (silver, yellow) or powder coating (black or anthracite), it offers robust Heavy Duty Galvanised U-Shape Post Support Base Bracket functionality. The U-Shape design accommodates a wide range of post sizes and shapes, and its concrete-in application provides a permanent anchor. The heavy-duty galvanised steel construction ensures resistance to corrosion, making it suitable for all weather conditions. For optimal performance, ensure posts are mounted at a distance of about 1 cm from the support plate for adequate ventilation and to prevent damp spots. This can be achieved by placing a wooden shim approximately 1 cm thick under the post during assembly. The product features HOT-DIP GALVANIZED ZINC coating, applied by immersing the object in melted zinc at approximately 450°C, achieving a coating thickness of 80-90 um (no less than 60 um), recommended for products exposed to prolonged moisture, especially for garden use.
