Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Numeris Atelier Trainers last as long as possible, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Because of the genuine leather material, wear the shoes for short intervals initially to allow the leather to naturally conform to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove loose dirt from the pebbled toe cap. For the leather upper, use a dedicated leather cleaner or a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
- Maintenance: Apply a leather conditioner every few months to prevent cracking. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh industrial chemicals.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent leather fading. Use a shoe tree to help the trainers maintain their shape between uses.
- Lacing: Ensure the thick flat laces are tied firmly but not excessively tight to maintain blood flow and comfort over long periods.
