Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure the lacing is adjusted to your preferred tightness for a secure fit. The round toe and flat heel design mean no specific break-in period is typically required.
Compatibility: Designed primarily for trail running, they perform well on dirt, gravel, mud, and mixed terrain. While they can be used on pavement, their aggressive outsole might wear faster and feel less optimized than a dedicated road shoe.
Care:
- Cleaning: After runs, brush off loose dirt and debris. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth or a soft brush with cold water. Avoid using harsh detergents.
- Drying: Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape during drying.
- Gore-Tex Care: Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, as these can degrade the waterproof membrane. Periodically check the tongue and laces for any debris that might impede the Gore-Tex seal.
