Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Nike Tennis Classic trainers, follow these care guidelines:
- Initial Protection: Apply a water-and-stain repellent spray designed for leather before first wear to create a barrier against minor dirt.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap to wipe away surface dirt after each use. Avoid machine washing, as this can degrade the leather.
- Drying: If the shoes get wet, air-dry them away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the leather to crack.
- Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent discoloration of the white finish.
- Insoles: Ensure they are kept dry to maintain hygiene; you can replace the factory insoles with orthopedic inserts if extra arch support is needed.
