The Manfrotto 059WM Wall Hooks are designed for professional photographers and studio managers looking to create a permanent, space-saving background paper support system. This mounting kit provides a robust, steel-constructed anchor point for a single roll of background paper, offering exceptional stability for studio workflows, though it requires permanent installation on a solid wall surface.

No, the 059WM is a set of wall hooks. You will need to purchase the Manfrotto Expan 046 system separately.
It is not recommended to mount these directly to thin drywall; they should be anchored into solid wall material or structural studs to support the weight of the paper roll.
The package includes a pair of hooks (2 pieces) necessary to support both ends of one paper roll.
The hooks are designed to safely support standard background paper rolls when used in conjunction with the Expan 046 system.
You will typically need a drill, appropriate drill bits for your wall type, a level, and a screwdriver.
Ensure the Expan 046 cores are fully tightened and the hooks are spaced exactly to the manufacturer's recommended distance.
Verify that the wall anchors used are appropriate for your specific wall material and re-tighten the mounting screws.
For setup, ensure the wall surface is solid, such as concrete or reinforced timber studs, and use a level to mark the spacing before drilling. Proper spacing is critical to ensure the Expan 046 core fits correctly between the hooks. Compatibility is limited to the Manfrotto Expan 046 system. To maintain the hooks, periodically check the mounting screws for tightness and wipe the steel surface with a clean cloth to prevent dust accumulation. Avoid using abrasive cleaners on the black finish to keep the hooks looking professional.
