The SureFlap Tunnel Extender is designed for wall installations of the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap. Tunnel extenders can be stacked together to create a longer approach tunnel. Each extender adds 50mm to the overall length of the tunnel. For an average cavity wall depth of 300mm, approximately 6 tunnel extenders are recommended. To determine the number of extenders needed, divide the total tunnel length (in mm) by 50. It is advisable to include an additional tunnel extender length to provide a lip for your pet to use as a step into the wall installation. The SureFlap pet flap itself is approximately 50mm deep and should be factored into this calculation.
