The slots are designed for standard bread slices; very thick bagels may not fit properly or could touch the heating elements.
Insert your frozen bread, select your desired browning level, and then press the defrost button.
The exterior may become warm during operation due to the nature of the heating process; handle by the lever and non-metal parts.
