Care Instructions
Proper care is crucial to maintain the quality, shape, and longevity of your 100% wool AMI Paris Jumper. Always check the garment's specific care label for precise instructions.
> Info needed: [Provide specific washing, drying, and ironing instructions from the product label.]
In the absence of specific label instructions, here are general wool care guidelines:
- Washing: We highly recommend dry cleaning for best results. If hand washing, use cool water (below 30°C / 86°F) with a mild wool-specific detergent. Gently squeeze the water through the garment; do not wring or twist. Avoid machine washing unless the care label explicitly states 'machine washable wool' and use a delicate cycle with cold water.
- Drying: After washing, gently roll the jumper in a clean towel to absorb excess water. Reshape the garment to its original dimensions and lay flat on a clean, dry surface or drying rack away from direct sunlight or heat. Do not tumble dry as this can cause irreversible shrinkage and damage.
- Ironing: If necessary, iron on a low heat setting (`wool` setting) with a pressing cloth or steam lightly. Avoid direct contact with a hot iron.
- Storage: Fold the jumper neatly and store it on a flat surface in a drawer or on a shelf. Avoid hanging for extended periods as this can cause the wool to stretch and lose its shape, especially at the shoulders. Use cedar balls or sachets to deter moths if storing for long periods.
