Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These football boots are designed for immediate use upon purchase. Ensure you have selected the correct size by measuring your foot length from the heel's most prominent point to the tip of your longest toe. Compare this measurement to Nike's sizing chart.
Compatibility: The 'FG' designation stands for Firm Ground, indicating these boots are best suited for natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly wet, and not excessively muddy. They are not recommended for artificial grass or hard, uneven surfaces.
Care:
- Cleaning: After use, remove excess dirt with a soft brush. Clean the leather upper with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or solvents.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can damage the leather and adhesives.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag, to protect them from dust and moisture. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb internal moisture and maintain their shape.
- Leather Conditioning: Periodically apply a leather conditioner designed for athletic footwear to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking.
