Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your Boston clogs, use the buckle to adjust the strap so the shoe feels snug but comfortable across your instep. Do not overtighten, as the goal is to allow your foot to move naturally.
Care instructions are critical for maintaining the longevity of these shoes:
- Suede Protection: Apply a high-quality suede protector spray before wearing them to repel dust and moisture.
- Stain Removal: Use a suede brush to gently remove surface dirt or dried mud. For tougher stains, a specialized suede eraser is recommended.
- Avoid Water: Never submerge the clogs in water, as this can degrade the cork-latex footbed and ruin the texture of the suede.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the natural materials to fade or become brittle over time.
