While the high-quality leather provides some water resistance, they are not classified as fully waterproof and should be treated with a protective spray if used in heavy rain.
Width G indicates that the shoe is designed to be slightly wider than a standard fitting, providing more room across the ball of the foot.
Yes, the Gabor Ledrod boots feature a removable insole, making them highly compatible with most custom or store-bought orthotic inserts.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe away dust and mud. Follow up with a leather-specific cream to moisturize the material.
The thick insulating sole is designed to provide good grip and stability on most standard walking surfaces.
Ensure no debris or loose threads are caught in the track; consider applying a small amount of zipper lubricant.
Remove the insole and reset it to ensure it is lying flat, or replace it if it has become overly compressed.
Apply a clear leather conditioner or polish to restore the natural shine and protect the surface.
When you receive your Gabor Ledrod boots, ensure you check the size and fit with your preferred hosiery to verify comfort. Because they feature a removable insole, you can easily substitute it with a specialized orthotic if necessary. To care for your boots, wipe the leather exterior regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt. For deeper maintenance, apply a high-quality leather cream or conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Always air-dry your boots naturally, keeping them away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the leather and the adhesive of the soles.
