The ASICS Novablast 5 trainers are designed for adult runners seeking a responsive and energetic platform for their daily training sessions. These trainers excel by combining advanced cushioning technology with a supportive architecture, making them ideal for long-distance efforts and recovery runs. While they offer superior comfort, users should note that the high-stack height may require a brief adjustment period for those transitioning from minimalist footwear.

Yes, the Novablast 5 is specifically designed for high-mileage training and possesses the cushioning required for marathon distances.
These shoes are optimized for road surfaces. They may lack the necessary grip and lateral stability for technical or uneven mountain trails.
Generally, running shoes should be replaced every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running style and surface conditions.
The shoe features a neutral platform designed to accommodate most foot types, but it is not categorized as a heavy stability shoe for severe overpronation.
The ASICS Novablast 5 typically fits true to size. If you prefer extra room for foot swelling during long runs, consider going up by half a size.
Use a soft brush and mild soap to spot-clean the mesh upper and wipe the midsole down with a damp cloth.
Ensure the laces are snug and that the heel is securely locked into the heel counter.
Ensure you are using technical, moisture-wicking socks rather than cotton socks to maximize the shoe's breathability.
To ensure proper performance, ensure you are utilizing the correct sizing for your foot type; ASICS sizing is generally standard. When lacing the Novablast 5, use the 'runner's loop' or 'heel lock' lacing method if you experience any heel slip. For care, avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as this can degrade the foam integrity. Instead, clean the upper using a soft brush with mild soap and water, and always air dry them away from direct heat sources to prevent material warping.
