Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
Getting started with your Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit 2.0 is straightforward:
- Unboxing: Remove your shoes from the packaging.
- Lacing: Adjust the laces to your desired snugness. Flyknit naturally conforms, so avoid overtightening.
- Initial Wear: Wear the shoes for short periods initially to allow the Flyknit to fully mold to your foot shape for optimal comfort.
Compatibility
- Sizing: This model is a UK size 10.5. Nike sizes are generally consistent, but it's always recommended to try them on or compare with your usual Nike shoe size.
- Foot Type: The adaptive Flyknit upper accommodates various foot shapes. The cushioning system is designed for broad appeal.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care will help maintain the appearance and longevity of your Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit 2.0:
- Cleaning the Flyknit Upper:
- Gentle Cleaning: Use a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) or a clean cloth dampened with cold water and a small amount of mild soap (e.g., dish soap or laundry detergent).
- Spot Clean: Gently rub affected areas. Avoid aggressive scrubbing which can damage the fibers.
- Rinse: Wipe with a clean, damp cloth to remove soap residue.
- Air Dry: Allow shoes to air dry completely at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Do NOT put them in a dryer or use a hairdryer, as high heat can damage the Flyknit material and adhesives.
- Cleaning the Midsole/Outsole:
- Use a brush or cloth with mild soap and water to clean the foam midsole and rubber pods. For stubborn dirt, a slightly stiffer brush can be used on the rubber sections.
- Storage: Store shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation and fading.
- Avoid: Machine washing, harsh chemicals, bleach, or submerging the shoes in water, as these can damage the materials and construction.
