Extended Product Information

FAQs

Is this skeleton weather-resistant for outdoor use?

No, this product is specifically designed for indoor use and should not be left outside where it could be damaged by moisture.

How do I change the lighting mode?

The lighting sequence is automatic and cycles through the pre-programmed color stages on its own.

What type of batteries are required?

The skeleton operates on standard AAA batteries.

Can the skeleton stand on its own?

The skeleton's posability allows it to be shaped into a seated or leaning position, but it may require support or a stand to remain in a free-standing upright position.

Are the eyes always on when the batteries are in?

Yes, once batteries are installed, the eye effects will activate, so be sure to switch them off or remove batteries when not in use to save power.

Is the skeleton easy to disassemble for storage?

The skeleton is intended to be used as a life-size unit; while you can fold the limbs for compact storage, it is not designed to be disassembled into individual pieces.

Troubleshooting

LED eyes are not lighting up

Check that the AAA batteries are inserted with the correct polarity and ensure they are fully charged.

Joints feel stiff or resist movement

Ensure you are moving the joint at the correct pivot point; apply gentle pressure to loosen the tension without forcing the plastic.

Eye colors seem inconsistent

The eyes follow a pre-set cycle; if they seem 'stuck' on one color, ensure the battery connection is stable and try replacing the batteries for full power.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Highly flexible joints allow for dynamic and creative posing
No external power cords required thanks to battery operation
Integrated LED eye effects create an immediate 'spooky' atmosphere
Full 5ft height provides a substantial, life-size visual impact

Requires frequent battery changes for consistent lighting
Not suitable for outdoor use in inclement weather
Lacks an automated timer feature for light sequences

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your skeleton, insert the required AAA batteries into the dedicated battery compartment. Once installed, simply manipulate the limbs into your desired pose—the joints are designed for repetitive adjustments, but it is recommended to move them gently to maintain the integrity of the plastic.

Care instructions include:

Keep the prop in a dry, indoor environment to prevent damage to the electrical components.
Remove batteries if the product will be stored for an extended period to prevent leakage.
Dust the frame occasionally with a dry cloth to keep the skeletal appearance clean.
Avoid forcing joints past their natural range of motion to prevent structural stress.
