The Arcs Shade by Muller Van Severen for HAY is made from a series of curved steel arches joined together to form a clean, scalloped shape. It can be used as a pendant or table lamp, depending on the setup, and creates a strong sense of form through its simple structure and play of light and shadow. The cord sets for the lamps are sold separately and are available. Available in a range of colours and a mirrored finish, the Arcs Shade works well in living spaces, bedrooms or offices, and fits into both decorative and functional lighting setups. Designed by Muller Van Severen. Manufactured by HAY. Arcs Shades are part of a series of arched designs created for HAY by Belgian duo Muller Van Severen. Formed from a continuous chain of curved arches that form a single element, the Arcs Shade creates a spatial volume that plays with light and shape. The shade can be used as a table lamp or pendant lamp suspended from the ceiling, both options forming contrasts in depth, colour and shape, resulting in an elegant scalloped silhouette.
