Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your Skechers Razor Elite boots is straightforward:
- Unpack: Remove the boots from their packaging.
- Lace Up: Adjust the laces to achieve a snug, comfortable, and secure fit. Ensure they are not too tight to avoid discomfort, but tight enough to prevent your foot from sliding inside the boot.
- Break-In: We recommend a short break-in period, perhaps during a light training session, to allow the boots to mold to your feet before intense matches. This helps prevent blisters and ensures optimal comfort.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically engineered for firm ground (FG) pitches. This means they are best suited for natural grass fields that are dry or slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf, soft ground, or hard ground surfaces may reduce performance, traction, and potentially damage the boots.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your Skechers Razor Elite boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher grime, a soft brush and mild soap can be used.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators), as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place. Consider stuffing them with newspaper to help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Product Label: For specific detailed care instructions regarding the synthetic upper, lining, and outsole materials, always refer to the product label inside the boot or on its original packaging.
