HQC Masonry Paint is an ideal solution for both homeowners and professional contractors looking to provide long-lasting, weather-resistant protection for exterior walls. Formulated with high-quality acrylic resin, this paint offers excellent durability against extreme weather conditions and helps reduce the growth of moss, lichen, and algae, though it requires proper surface preparation to ensure maximum longevity and adhesion.

It is suitable for most standard exterior masonry walls, including brick and render. Ensure the surface is structurally sound before application.
It prevents external water penetration while allowing trapped moisture to escape as vapour, which helps maintain a dry, efficient wall structure.
Since this is a water-based acrylic paint, you can clean your brushes and rollers using warm soapy water immediately after use.
It is recommended to apply in dry, temperate weather. Avoid painting in freezing temperatures or during wet conditions as it will prevent the paint from curing correctly.
While it has excellent adhesion, a primer is recommended if the masonry is extremely porous, friable, or if you are painting over a drastically different colour.
Ensure the wall is free from dust, grease, and loose materials. If the surface is chalky, apply a stabilising primer first.
Ensure you are using the correct type of masonry roller or brush and apply consistent pressure, maintaining a 'wet edge' while painting.
Ensure the surface was fully treated with a fungicidal wash to kill existing spores before the first coat was applied.
To ensure optimal performance, the surface must be clean, dry, and free from dust, loose debris, or flaking paint before application. Remove any existing biological growth such as moss or algae using a stiff brush or an appropriate fungicidal wash. Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Apply in moderate weather conditions—avoid painting in direct, intense sunlight or when rain is expected. For best results, apply evenly with a high-quality masonry brush or a medium-pile roller. Clean brushes and equipment with water immediately after use to prevent the acrylic resin from hardening.
