FAQs
Can I wash the cover in a machine?
No, the pouf is spot clean only. Machine washing will damage the delicate embroidery and beadwork.
Is the pouf suitable for children's rooms?
While visually appealing for children, please note the beaded details may pose a choking hazard if they become loose, so adult supervision is advised.
How much weight can the pouf support?
The pouf is designed for standard use as a footrest or seat for one adult, though it is not intended for use as a step stool or ladder.
Does the pouf come in other colors?
This specific model is the Blue variant from the Anna + Nina collection.
Is the fabric prone to fading?
Like many natural or decorative textiles, it is best to keep the pouf out of direct, prolonged sunlight to maintain the vibrancy of the blue fabric.
Troubleshooting
Visible dust or debris between beads
Use a soft-bristled brush or a low-suction vacuum attachment to gently lift debris without pulling on the embroidery.
Minor stain on fabric surface
Gently blot the affected area with a clean, white cloth dampened with mild soapy water; do not rub the embroidered sections.
Pouf feels unstable on floor
Ensure the base is centered and check if the floor surface is level; the lightweight 4.5 kg build may shift on slick wooden floors, so consider a non-slip rug pad underneath.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Striking and unique aesthetic
- Lightweight and easy to move
- Versatile functionality as a seat or footrest
- High-quality handmade construction
Cons
- Spot clean only limitations
- Beaded details may be delicate with heavy use
- Not suitable for outdoor environments
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward as the pouf comes pre-assembled. Ensure the piece is placed on a flat, even surface to maintain stability. For compatibility, the blue colorway pairs well with neutral palettes such as creams, grays, or wood tones, as well as eclectic maximalist decor. Regarding care, the pouf is strictly spot clean only. Avoid submerging the item in water or using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can damage the embroidery and bead adhesives. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to gently blot away stains, and air dry in a shaded area away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
