Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all appliances from their packaging. Check for any damage and ensure all parts are present.
- Placement: Position each appliance on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface near a standard electrical outlet. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the microwave, especially at the back and sides.
- Power: Plug each appliance directly into a wall socket. Avoid using extension cords or multi-plugs if possible, especially for the kettle and microwave, due to their high power consumption. Utilize the integrated cord storage for a tidy counter.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe down the exterior of each appliance with a damp cloth. For the kettle, boil and discard a full pot of water once or twice to clean the interior.
Compatibility
These appliances are designed for standard household use and are compatible with typical kitchen power outlets (e.g., 220-240V). The set is intended for general domestic cooking and beverage preparation. The cream color and coordinated design make them aesthetically compatible with a variety of kitchen decors.
Care and Maintenance
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior surfaces of all appliances regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges.
- Kettle: The detachable filter should be removed and rinsed under running water periodically to clear limescale or debris. Descale the kettle interior every few months using a commercial descaling solution or a natural solution of vinegar and water, then rinse thoroughly.
- Toaster: Regularly remove and empty the crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster. This prevents crumb buildup, which can be a fire hazard. Ensure the toaster is unplugged and cool before cleaning the tray.
- Microwave: Wipe the interior with a damp cloth after each use to prevent food buildup. For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon juice inside and heat it for a few minutes to create steam, then wipe clean. The glass turntable can be removed and washed in warm soapy water. Ensure the door seals are clean for efficient operation and safety.
