Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the iron is unplugged and cool.
- Select the desired tip and carefully screw it onto the metal ferrule of the iron. Ensure it is snug but do not overtighten.
- Place the iron stand on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet.
- Allow the iron to heat up for several minutes before use. Handle the iron and tips with extreme care as they become very hot.
Compatibility:
This iron is designed for use on natural materials such as wood and leather. It is not suitable for plastics or metal.
Care:
- Always allow the iron to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
- Wipe the tips clean with a slightly damp cloth after each use. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Store the iron and tips in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging or a dedicated tool case.
- Periodically check the connection of the tips for tightness.
