Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output port on your source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console, computer) and the other end to the HDMI input port on your display device (e.g., TV, monitor, projector). Ensure both ends are securely plugged in. The cable supports Plug and Play, requiring no additional software or drivers.
Compatibility: This cable is designed to meet the HDMI v2.1 specification, supporting features like 8K video and 48Gbps bandwidth. It is also backward compatible with all previous HDMI versions (1.4, 2.0, etc.) and will function with existing HDMI devices. For the full benefits of 8K and 48Gbps, both your source device and display must also support HDMI 2.1.
Care: To maintain optimal performance and longevity:
- Avoid sharply bending or kinking the cable.
- Keep connectors clean and free from dust. Use a dry, soft cloth if necessary.
- Ensure the cable is not exposed to extreme temperatures or moisture.
- When unplugging, grip the connector head, not the cable itself.
