Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The Candy CCE60NX can be installed as either a ducted or recirculating hood. For ducted installations, you'll need to connect the hood to an external vent. Recirculating installations require charcoal filters (sold separately) to remove odors. Professional installation is recommended, especially for ducting. Ensure the unit is securely mounted to the wall and that all connections are airtight.
Compatibility
The hood is designed to fit over standard cooktops. Check the dimensions (600mm width) to ensure it is compatible with your kitchen setup. The unit operates on 220-240V, 50-60 Hz power supply.
Care
- Cleaning: Clean the stainless steel surface regularly with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Grease Filters: Remove and wash the metallic grease filters regularly (every 1-2 months, depending on use). They are dishwasher safe.
- Charcoal Filters: If using charcoal filters, replace them as recommended by the manufacturer (typically every 3-6 months) to maintain effective odor removal.
- Bulb Replacement: Replace the LED bulbs when necessary. Use only the specified 2W bulbs.
