Fallout: New Vegas is an action role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was released in 2010 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic Las Vegas and its surrounding desert, six years after the events of Fallout 3. Players take on the role of a courier who is shot and left for dead in the Mojave Wasteland. After surviving, the courier must track down their assailant and uncover the complex conflict brewing between the New California Republic, Caesar's Legion, and New Vegas's independent Strip.
