Pros and Cons

Pros

Powerful, immersive stereo sound from a portable unit
Exceptional 24-hour battery life for extended listening
Durable IP56 rating makes it suitable for outdoor use
Flexible connectivity with both WiFi and Bluetooth®
Convenient and elegant wireless charging solution
Seamlessly integrates into existing Sonos multi-room setups

Cons

Requires periodic recharging, limiting continuous use without power
While durable, extreme conditions may still impact longevity
Full multi-room and smart home features are dependent on WiFi connectivity

To set up your Sonos Move 2, first place it on the included Wireless Charging Base, ensuring the base is connected to power. Download the Sonos app on your smartphone or tablet. The app will guide you through connecting the Move 2 to your home WiFi network, which is essential for multi-room audio and full smart speaker functionality. For direct device connection when away from WiFi, activate Bluetooth® pairing mode on the speaker and connect from your device's Bluetooth settings. The Move 2 is compatible with all other Sonos S2-compatible speakers, allowing you to expand your home sound system. For care, due to its IP56 rating, the Move 2 can withstand splashes and dust; however, avoid submerging it in water. Clean the speaker with a soft, damp cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Always ensure the charging contacts are clean and dry before placing it on the charging base.
