Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Jones Bootmaker Barking Boots last for years, proper care is essential. Upon first wear, we recommend wearing them for shorter periods indoors to allow the leather and sole to soften. To maintain the appearance of the grained leather, wipe away dirt with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Apply a high-quality leather cream or conditioner periodically to prevent the material from drying out and cracking. Always allow the boots to air dry naturally if they become damp—avoid placing them directly against radiators or heat sources, as this can damage the leather. When not in use, store them in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees to help the boots retain their structural shape.
