Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation is straightforward due to the push-fit mechanism. Ensure your pipe cuts are square and clean of burrs to prevent damage to the internal seals during assembly.
- Measure the required length and cut the pipe using a fine-tooth saw.
- Deburr the cut edges to ensure a smooth entry into the socket.
- Slide the separate socket over the end of the pipe, ensuring the seal is properly seated.
- Secure the downpipe to the wall using compatible clips, utilizing the integrated lugs for a traditional look.
For maintenance, periodically inspect the joints for alignment and use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior to remove dirt or grime, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the cast iron effect finish.
