Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure laces are threaded through all eyelets. For a secure fit, tie a double knot to prevent laces from coming undone during activity.
- Fit Check: Have your child try on the shoes with the socks they would typically wear to school. Check for adequate toe room and ensure the heel is snug, not slipping.
Compatibility
These shoes are designed to be compatible with most school uniform policies due to their classic black leather and sophisticated silhouette. They are suitable for daily wear within a school environment, including classroom time, playground activities, and school trips.
Care
- Daily Cleaning: Wipe leather uppers with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. For deeper scuffs, a specialized leather cleaner can be used.
- Polishing: Apply black shoe polish regularly (e.g., weekly) to maintain the leather's shine and condition. This also helps to protect the leather from moisture.
- Drying: If shoes get wet, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, as this can damage the leather.
- Sole Maintenance: Regularly check the rubber soles for any embedded stones or debris and remove them to prolong the sole's life and maintain grip.
