Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Open Straps: Fully open both riptape (Velcro) straps.
- Position Foot: Gently guide your child's foot into the shoe, ensuring toes are not curled.
- Adjust Fit: Press the straps down firmly, starting with the lower one, to secure the shoe snugly but not too tightly. Ensure there's a thumb's width of space between your child's longest toe and the end of the shoe.
Compatibility
These shoes are designed for toddlers, specifically those beginning to walk and explore independently. Their 'Standard Fit' caters to a wide range of foot shapes, and the emphasis on natural movement makes them suitable for everyday wear, both indoors and outdoors on light terrain.
Care
- Cleaning the Leather Upper: Wipe clean with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a specialist leather cleaner suitable for children's shoes. Allow to air dry naturally, away from direct heat.
- Cleaning the Sole: Use a damp cloth or soft brush to remove dirt and debris from the rubber sole and flex grooves.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the riptape straps for any lint or debris that might reduce their effectiveness and clean as necessary. Avoid submerging the shoes in water.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
