Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These boots require no specific setup beyond wearing them. Ensure you select the correct size for optimal comfort and safety.
Compatibility: The Scruffs Stratton Safety Boots meet EN ISO 20345:2022 SB FO safety standards, making them suitable for general industrial use, construction, workshops, and other environments requiring foot protection. They are compatible with standard work attire.
Care:
- Cleaning: For the leather upper, use a damp cloth to wipe away dirt and dust. For stubborn stains, a specialized leather cleaner can be used. Allow the boots to dry naturally away from direct heat.
- Conditioning: Periodically apply a leather conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent cracking, especially after cleaning.
- Sole Maintenance: Keep the outsole clean from debris to ensure continued slip resistance. A stiff brush can help remove ingrained dirt.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use, preferably in a boot bag or the original box to protect them from dust and damage.
