The fischer DUOTEC allows for very high load input due to its unique function mode and dowel geometry, reducing the number of attachments needed for maximum safety. It is part of the duo-Line series, featuring two plastic components: a red, hard component for uniform load distribution and a gray, soft component to prevent damage to surfaces. The DUOTEC can be used as a toggle bolt in hollow spaces behind building materials or as a wedge anchor in solid substrates. It is ideal for tilting applications requiring high tensile and transverse loads in plasterboard and gypsum fibreboards, thanks to its two-material components and reinforcing collar sleeve for optimal grip. The collar sleeve also allows for easy pre-assembly. It functions as a tilt dowel in panel building materials and as an expansion dowel in solid materials. This product is suitable for screws with a diameter of 5 mm and can be used in plaster fibre and plasterboard, plastic/steel and wood panels, MDF boards, and solid materials like concrete and wood.
