Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
Your Coach Quilted Tabby 20 Shoulder Bag arrives ready for use. No complex assembly is required.
- Strap Adjustment: The removable strap, combining leather and an ornamental metal chain, is adjustable from approximately 65 cm to 118 cm. To adjust, simply find the buckle or attachment points and slide the strap to your desired length for either shoulder or crossbody wear.
- Initial Protection: Before using your bag for the first time, it is highly recommended to treat the napa leather with a high-quality waterproofing agent. This helps protect against moisture and stains.

This bag's classic black color and quilted design make it incredibly versatile and compatible with a wide range of styles:
- Casual Chic: Pairs effortlessly with jeans, a stylish top, and ankle boots for an elevated casual look.
- Business Casual: Complements blazers, tailored trousers, or skirts, adding a refined touch to your professional attire.
- Evening Elegance: Perfectly matches dresses, jumpsuits, or sophisticated separates for formal events or nights out.
Care & Maintenance
To ensure your Coach Quilted Tabby 20 Shoulder Bag retains its beauty and longevity, follow these care instructions:
- Storage: When not in use, always store the bag in its provided dustbag to protect it from dust and environmental elements. Stuff the bag with acid-free tissue paper to help maintain its shape.
- Cleaning: For general cleaning, gently wipe the napa leather surface with a soft, damp cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a leather cleaner specifically formulated for napa leather, applying sparingly with a clean, soft cloth and following the product's instructions. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
- Avoid Moisture: Keep the bag away from excessive moisture, direct sunlight, and extreme heat. If it gets wet, blot immediately with a soft, dry cloth and allow it to air dry naturally, away from heat sources.
- Protect from Scratches: Napa leather is delicate. Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces, sharp objects, or excessive friction to prevent scratches and scuffs.
- Conditioning: Periodically condition the leather (every 6-12 months, depending on use) with a napa leather conditioner to keep it supple and prevent drying or cracking. Again, test in an inconspicuous area.
- Avoid Overfilling: Do not overfill the bag, as this can distort its shape and put undue stress on the seams and closure.
