Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Duckboots last through multiple seasons, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the leather upper with a soft, damp cloth after exposure to mud or salt.
- Drying: If the interior gets wet, remove the insoles and stuff the boots with newspaper to absorb moisture. Never dry them near direct heat sources like radiators, as this can crack the leather.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the adhesive and leather.
- Protection: Apply a leather-safe water repellent spray periodically to refresh the exterior waterproof finish.
