The Vionic Walk Strider Weekender is a high-performance, lace-up sneaker engineered for women who prioritize foot health and body alignment during extended periods of walking. Featuring advanced Vio Motion Technology, this trainer provides superior arch support, shock absorption, and lateral stability, making it ideal for daily active use. While its technical features are designed to reduce stress on feet, ankles, and knees, users should be aware that the 1.75-inch heel height offers a slight lift that may feel different from completely flat casual sneakers.

The Walk Strider Weekender is built with integrated Vio Motion technology. It is designed to provide optimal support as-is, and removing the footbed may compromise the biomechanical benefits of the shoe.
The upper is made of leather, which provides some natural resistance to light moisture, but they are not categorized as waterproof.
Use a specialized leather cleaner for the upper and a damp cloth with mild soap for the rubber outsole.
While excellent for walking and light activity, these are specifically engineered for performance walking and may not provide the lateral support needed for high-intensity gym activities.
The shoe features a 1.75-inch heel height and a 1.125-inch platform.
Vionic shoes typically fit true to standard adult sizing, but as with all performance footwear, we recommend wearing them with the socks you plan to use for walking to ensure the best fit.
Vionic shoes provide significant arch support which may feel unusual initially. Wear them for 1-2 hours a day for the first week to allow your feet to adjust to the alignment.
Ensure the laces are threaded properly through the eyelets and use a double-knot if you are performing vigorous walking.
Use a leather-safe cleaner or a soft brush to gently buff away minor marks, followed by a light application of leather conditioner if the material appears dry.
To maximize the life of your Vionic trainers, ensure you untie the laces fully when putting them on to avoid damaging the heel counter. If you use custom orthotics, the internal footbed is designed to work with the shoe's built-in support, though you may find that the Vionic arch support is sufficient on its own. For care, wipe the leather upper with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt and debris. Avoid soaking the shoes or using harsh chemicals that could degrade the leather. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the leather from cracking.
