Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup: Each cage kit comes with clear instructions, diagrams, and a list of all included components. The uprights (16mm tubes) are designed to be pushed approximately 300mm into the soil for stability. The 13mm crossbars connect to these uprights using supplied connectors (like ball joints or joiners), forming the frame. Finally, the chosen netting is draped over the assembled frame and secured, typically with pegs (not always included, check kit contents). Assembly is designed to be quick and straightforward.
Compatibility: These cages are designed for outdoor garden use. The netting options are compatible with the aluminium frame structure. Ensure you select the netting type that best suits the pests you are trying to deter in your specific growing environment. The cages are suitable for a variety of fruits, vegetables, and salad greens.
Care: The aluminium frame is rust-resistant and requires minimal maintenance. Clean with a damp cloth if necessary. It is crucial to remove the netting if snow or high winds are forecast to prevent damage to the structure or netting itself. Store components dry when not in use for extended periods.
