Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Location Selection: Determine the optimal mounting position on a sturdy wall, considering the user's height and reach.
- Wall Studs: For maximum security, the grab bar should ideally be mounted into wall studs. If studs are not accessible, appropriate heavy-duty wall anchors rated for the bar's load capacity must be used.
- Marking & Drilling: Hold the mounting plate against the wall, level it, and mark the screw hole positions. Drill pilot holes.
- Attachment: Securely fasten the grab bar to the wall using appropriate screws and anchors. Ensure the bar is firmly fixed and does not wobble.
Compatibility:
This grab bar is designed for wall mounting in standard bathroom environments. It is compatible with most standard wall types, provided the correct mounting hardware and techniques are used.
Care:
- Clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the finish.
- Wipe dry after cleaning to prevent water spots.
- Periodically check that the mounting screws remain tight to ensure continued stability.
