The EKO Serene Step Bin 3L in Black is an ideal waste management solution for those seeking a compact, minimalist bin for bathrooms, en-suites, or tight office spaces. Its primary benefit is the durable, fingerprint-resistant stainless steel construction that maintains a clean aesthetic, though its 3L capacity is specifically intended for small-scale waste rather than high-volume household trash.

Yes, standard small liners or bags work well with the removable inner bucket.
The EKO Serene features a sturdy pedal operation designed for durability; check your specific model packaging as performance may vary.
While the stainless steel is durable, the bin is not designed to be submerged in water. It is intended for indoor bathroom use.
The bin is designed for compact spaces and fits standard under-vanity height requirements.
The inner bucket is designed to be durable, but for replacement parts, please contact the EKO support team via your retailer.
Check that the bin is not pushed too far against the wall, as the lid requires clearance to rotate open.
Ensure the inner bucket is properly seated and not interfering with the internal pedal linkage.
Remove the inner bucket, wash it thoroughly with warm soapy water, and allow it to dry completely.
Setting up the EKO Serene Step Bin is straightforward: simply remove the packaging, ensure the inner bucket is correctly positioned inside the shell, and verify that the lid hinges move freely. To maintain the bin’s appearance, wipe the exterior regularly with a soft, damp microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, as these can damage the protective finish. If the inner bucket becomes soiled, it can be washed with mild soap and water; ensure it is completely dry before placing it back into the bin to prevent trapped moisture.
