The Mountain Warehouse Moon Ski Jacket is designed for adult female skiers seeking warmth and protection on the slopes. Its key benefit is providing snowproof, windproof, and lightly insulated coverage to keep you comfortable in cold conditions, with a slight caveat that laboratory thermal testing at -30°C is affected by physical activity and perspiration. This jacket features microfibre insulation, an integrated snowskirt, adjustable hood and cuffs, and multiple pockets for essential gear.

The jacket is described as 'Snow Proof' and treated with Durable Water Repellent (DWR), making it water-resistant. It is suitable for packed snow and general ski conditions, but may not be rated for heavy rain or prolonged immersion.
The jacket has been 'Thermal Tested -30°C' in a laboratory. However, the actual performance depends on factors like health, physical activity level, and perspiration.
It is recommended to follow the care instructions on the garment's label. Typically, this involves machine washing on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can impair the water-repellent properties.
No, the snowskirt is fully attached to the jacket to provide a continuous barrier against snow.
The jacket uses Microfibre Insulation, which provides excellent heat retention and is a synthetic alternative to down.
Yes, both the hood and the cuffs are adjustable. The hood can be easily adjusted for the perfect fit, and the cuffs feature Hook & Loop fastening for easy adjustment.
This particular product listing is for Women's Size 18.
Ensure all zippers and closures are fully secured. Check that the snowskirt is properly fitted. If the issue persists, it may indicate a need to reapply a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment to the outer fabric.
Verify that the adjustable cuffs are tightened securely around your wrists. Ensure the hood is properly adjusted to minimize gaps. The windproof membrane should prevent significant wind penetration under normal skiing conditions.
While the jacket has multiple pockets, for extensive gear, consider using a small, waterproof pouch for additional items or a backpack.
This jacket requires no specific setup. It is designed for direct use. Ensure the hood and cuffs are adjusted for a comfortable and secure fit before engaging in activities. For care, it is recommended to follow the washing instructions on the garment's label, typically involving machine washing on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and avoiding fabric softeners to maintain the water-repellent properties. Air drying is generally preferred to preserve the jacket's integrity and insulation.
