Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your trail shoes, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Wear the shoes for shorter walks or easy runs before attempting long technical trails to allow the upper to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Remove loose mud and debris with a soft brush after every run. If the shoes are particularly dirty, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid using a washing machine or dryer to preserve the GORE-TEX membrane.
- Air Drying: Always let your shoes air dry at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, as they can damage the cushioning materials and waterproof treatment.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the fabric and synthetic components.
