Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Bonpoint May trainers, follow these care guidelines:
- Initial Protection: Apply a leather-safe water and stain repellent spray to the exterior before the first wear.
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners.
- Drying: If the shoes get wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the leather to crack.
- Storage: When not in use, store the shoes in the provided dust bag within their original box to prevent color fading and dust accumulation.
- Maintenance: Regularly condition the leather to keep it supple and prevent creasing.
