Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Installing your Yard Heavy Chenille Lined Eyelet Curtains is straightforward:
- Unpack Carefully: Remove curtains from packaging, checking for any creases.
- Hang the Pole: Ensure your curtain pole is securely mounted above your window, extending sufficiently beyond the window frame.
- Thread the Eyelets: Gently thread each eyelet onto the curtain pole. For a balanced look, ensure the first and last eyelets are positioned towards the outside of the pole bracket.
- Arrange Folds: Once hung, adjust the curtains to create even, pleasing folds or 'waves' from the eyelets.
Compatibility
These eyelet curtains are designed exclusively for use with a curtain pole or rod. They are not compatible with curtain tracks that require hooks or rings. Ensure your curtain pole diameter is appropriate for the eyelet size to allow for smooth movement.
Care
Proper care will help maintain the luxurious appearance and longevity of your curtains:
- Dry clean: Professional dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the fabric's integrity and color.
- Line dry: After cleaning, always line dry. Avoid tumble drying.
- Can be ironed: If creases are present, iron on a cool setting on the reverse side. Use a pressing cloth if needed to protect the velvet pile. Avoid direct heat on the chenille surface.
- Material: 100% Polyester.
