The HellermannTyton T80L cable tie is a professional-grade fastening solution designed for contractors and DIY enthusiasts who need to securely bundle cables, pipes, and hoses. Engineered with durable Polyamide 6.6, these ties offer a robust 355N tensile strength and are entirely halogen-free for safer environmental integration. While they provide an exceptionally secure hold, it is important to note that these are non-releasable ties, meaning they are intended for permanent, single-use applications.

No, the T80L series features a permanent, non-releasable locking mechanism.
While they handle a wide temperature range, they are not specifically UV-stabilized, so long-term outdoor exposure may reduce their lifespan.
The maximum bundle diameter is 110mm.
Yes, they are manufactured without halogens, making them safer for environments with strict fire safety requirements.
They are made of Polyamide 6.6, a high-quality, 100% recyclable plastic.
No, they can be applied effectively by hand, though a tensioning tool is recommended for professional, high-volume installations.
Ensure the tail is inserted with the serrated side facing inward toward the locking head.
Utilize the bent tip to guide the tie into the head and verify that the bundle diameter does not exceed 110mm.
Check that the tensioning tool is set correctly or, if applying by hand, avoid over-torquing beyond the 355N limit.
To achieve the best results with your T80L cable ties, ensure the items being bundled are laid parallel to avoid unnecessary stress on the plastic. When tightening manually, pull the tail through the locking head until the desired tension is achieved. For high-volume applications, a standard cable tie tensioning tool is recommended to maintain uniformity.
While Polyamide 6.6 is durable, it is sensitive to extreme moisture loss; keep the ties in their original sealed packaging until use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as long-term exposure to UV radiation can cause the material to become brittle over time. These ties are fully recyclable, so please dispose of them in accordance with local plastic waste guidelines.
