Setup:
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any loose debris, grease, or old sealant. Use a suitable cleaner to remove any contaminants.
- Application: Cut the nozzle at a 45-degree angle. Apply a continuous bead of sealant into the gap or joint.
- Smoothing: Immediately smooth the sealant with a sealant finishing tool or a wet finger to achieve a professional finish.
- Curing: Allow the sealant to fully cure according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically 24-48 hours, before exposing it to water or heavy use.
Compatibility:
This silicone sealant is compatible with a wide range of materials, including:
- Ceramic
- Glass
- Acrylic
- Most types of tiles
- Painted surfaces (test in an inconspicuous area first)
Care:
- Clean with a mild detergent and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Inspect the sealant periodically for any signs of damage or wear.
- Re-seal if necessary.
