Setup, Compatibility & Care
For optimal growth, plant these in a position that receives full sun to light shade. When setting up in pots, ensure there is at least one drainage hole at the bottom. Use a substrate consisting of 50% potting compost and 50% horticultural grit or sand. Watering should be minimal; allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, especially in the winter months when the plant enters a semi-dormant state. Avoid getting water directly into the center of the rosette, as this can encourage decay. No regular pruning is required, though you may remove dead outer leaves if desired.
