Setup
Your HOMCOM Accent Chair may require some light assembly upon delivery.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out and cross-reference with the included instructions/parts list to ensure everything is present.
- Attach Legs: Typically, the chair legs will need to be screwed into pre-drilled holes in the chair's base. Ensure they are tightened securely but do not overtighten.
- Final Check: Once assembled, gently rock the chair to ensure all connections are stable and it sits level on the floor. If it wobbles, re-check leg tightness.
Compatibility
This accent chair is a versatile piece compatible with various interior design styles, from traditional to contemporary. Its black upholstery and vintage tufting make it a natural fit for:
- Living Rooms: As an additional seating option or a decorative anchor.
- Bedrooms: As a stylish spot for dressing or reading.
- Home Offices/Studies: Offering a comfortable waiting or reading chair.
- Entryways: Providing a convenient spot to sit while putting on shoes.
It pairs well with wooden furniture, metallic accents, and a range of fabric textures.
Care
To ensure your accent chair remains in excellent condition:
- Regular Cleaning: Dust the chair regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For upholstered parts, use a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub, as this can spread the stain. For tougher spots, use a mild fabric cleaner specifically designed for upholstery, testing it on an inconspicuous area first.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade upholstery over time. Position the chair away from windows or use curtains/blinds.
- Protect Wood Frame: If the wood frame is exposed, polish it occasionally with a furniture polish suitable for wood.
- Weight Limit: Do not exceed the 160kg (352 lbs) weight capacity to maintain structural integrity.
