Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Trailgrip GTX trainers last, it is important to follow proper maintenance steps. When they become dirty, remove the OrthoLite insoles and wash them separately with mild soap and water. Clean the exterior nylon using a soft-bristled brush and a damp cloth; avoid harsh chemical cleaners which could damage the GORE-TEX water-repellent coating. For the best fit, ensure you are wearing socks of appropriate thickness for the conditions, as the technical membrane may slightly reduce interior volume compared to unlined leather or canvas trainers. Always allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the materials from cracking or warping.
