No. The fixture has an IP20 rating, which means it is not protected against moisture and should be used only in dry interior spaces.
The brass ring is a design element that adds a touch of refinement, but it is removable if you prefer a strictly monochromatic look.
The fixture stands 13cm high.
Yes, it is compatible with mains dimming, provided you use a compatible dimmable LED GU10 bulb and dimmer switch.
Check if the bulb is dimmable and compatible with your wall dimmer switch. Tighten the bulb in the socket.
Ensure the brass ring is properly seated into the grooves at the base of the fixture.
Verify the bulb is functional in another lamp and ensure the fixture is wired correctly to the mains power.
For installation, ensure the power is cut at the breaker before mounting the base plate to your ceiling. The light is designed for indoor, dry-room use (IP20 rating). To maintain the finish, wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that might damage the white coating or the brass detailing ring. If you wish to use the dimming feature, ensure your wall dimmer switch is compatible with the specific LED GU10 bulb you select, as some bulbs may flicker if the dimmer type does not match the LED driver.
