Setup, Compatibility & Care
These trainers require no complex setup; they are ready to wear out of the box. They are compatible with most everyday casual and smart-casual attire. To care for your Lacoste trainers and maintain their appearance, we recommend the following:
- Cleaning: For the leather upper, use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away dirt and dust. For stubborn marks, a dedicated leather cleaner can be used sparingly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the leather.
- Drying: If the trainers become wet, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Stuffing them with paper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can cause the leather to crack or warp.
- Protection: Consider using a leather protector spray to guard against water and stains, especially for lighter colors. Reapply periodically according to the product's instructions.
- Storage: When not in use, store the trainers in a cool, dry place, preferably in their original box or a shoe bag to protect them from dust and damage.
