The Finerfilters 25W Ultraviolet UV Steriliser System is designed for water treatment, suitable for point of entry or after storage tanks, particularly for private water supplies. It offers additional safety against harmful microorganisms like E.coli and coliform bacteria, and is also suitable for mains water fed domestic applications. This system is equipped with all necessary parts and bulbs for installation. For optimal performance, it is recommended to install a pre-sediment filter system before the UV unit to prevent suspended solids and sediments from affecting the sterilization process. A carbon block filter can also be added to remove chlorine and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The system can be installed vertically or horizontally and features Philips branded bulbs for quality. Lamp replacement is recommended every 9,000 hours of operation for sustained UV intensity.
