The leather construction provides some natural stretch, but generally, the fit is standard for infant sizes.
No, machine washing can damage the leather and the structural integrity of the boot. Clean them by hand only.
They are functional, allowing you to adjust the tightness around the ankle for a secure fit.
Measure your child's foot length from heel to toe and compare it to a standard UK infant size guide, allowing for a small amount of growth room.
While the leather is naturally resistant to light splashes, they are not waterproof and should not be submerged in water.
Applying a leather conditioner once every few months or when the material looks dry will help keep it supple.
Leather requires a break-in period; wear them for short durations indoors to soften the material.
Use a matching leather polish or cream to buff out minor scuffs and restore the color.
Ensure the laces or fasteners are fully loosened before inserting the foot, and use a shoehorn if necessary.
To ensure the longevity of your Kickers Playflex Hi boots, proper care is essential. Since they are crafted from real leather, it is recommended to use a protective leather spray upon purchase to guard against minor spills and dust. If the boots become muddy, wipe them down with a soft, damp cloth and allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can crack the leather. Ensure you check the fit regularly as infants' feet grow quickly, typically every 2 to 3 months, to prevent discomfort or restricted blood flow.
