The DEWALT DCG418 XR FlexVolt Grinder features a high power density motor with increased power, an upgraded electronic module, and components. A mesh guard improves durability and reduces motor dust ingress. When powered by a FlexVolt battery, it provides up to 30% more power than the DCG414. Its compact gear case allows for ease of use and access into tight spaces. The rubber overmould provides enhanced grip and comfort. An E-brake and E-clutch increase user safety, protecting the user in the event of disc bind up. It also has a one-touch guard system for easy keyless guard adjustments. Comes with a two-position side handle for greater comfort and control. The grinder has an improved brushless motor for extended durability, efficiency, and power. Removable protective mesh dust guards offer additional motor contamination protection. Over-moulded rear and side handle provide increased grip and comfort in various configurations. The upgraded electronic module and components allow for additional motor power. High Capacity Battery delivers more power: 6Ah:2000W / 9Ah:2300W. E-Brake and E-Clutch provide class-leading safety protection features. 1 touch guard system allows for quick and easy guard adjustments without a tool. Tool free nut.
